Plain answers to what Malaysian homeowners ask most about going solar: the savings, the SuRIA Home rebate, who qualifies, Solar ATAP, and getting installed — sorted by topic so you reach the right answer quickly.
Going solar lowers your TNB bill for 25 years or more — and the SuRIA Home rebate pays you RM600 per kWac, up to a RM3,000 ceiling, for doing it under the Solar ATAP scheme. TNB deposits the rebate straight into your own bank account, first-come, first-served, and the window closes on 31 December 2026 or once the RM150 million pot runs dry. Stacked on top of this government rebate, Astern Technologies runs its own extra of up to RM4,000 (outright purchase only, limited quota, terms & conditions apply), taking the total to as much as RM7,000.
Book a free, no-strings assessment and we'll cover everything — your potential savings, system size, the SuRIA Home rebate and the install itself.
